What the reports contain
Each report analyses the insights gathered by the central teams from the session presentations and discussions had during the first half of the CA EPBD 6.
The first reports cover the following topics:

- CT4 - Finance and information – how to leverage private funding, set up one‑stop shops and skills development
- CT5 - Decarbonisation and zero‑emission buildings – technologies, flexibility and overall decarbonisation
- CT6 - Calculation of ZEB indicators – current practices, core definitions and primary‑energy/CO₂ calculations
- CT7 - Smart buildings and system integration – HVAC performance, building‑automation systems and heat‑pump roles
- CT8 - Building codes and technical requirements – solar integration, codes for new and existing buildings and renovation of historic structures
Disseminating the lessons learned
By making the reports openly available, the CA EPBD helps to:
- disseminate key lessons learned to anyone working on climate action, clean energy and energy efficiency in the built environment
- ensure transparency and accountability to funders and partners, and
- provide a reusable knowledge base for EU and national agencies, universities, industry and other stakeholders so they can draw on the findings for policy development, research and commercial projects and products
Next steps
Updated second versions of the reports will be published at the end of the project with new material and findings from the second project period.
