The impact report demonstrates how the CA has helped Member States understand the new EPBD rules and translate them into national legislation, policies and practical tools.
Regular meetings have created a strong network of national experts, implementing authorities and the European Commission, providing a forum to discuss how EU legislation can be applied in the Member States. High attendance and positive feedback confirm the forum’s importance.
Coordinator Jens Laustsen thanks all participants and looks forward to further progress in the second half of the project. In the foreword, DG ENER stresses that the 2024 EPBD recast offers a rare opportunity to decarbonise the building stock, improve homes, schools and offices, tackle energy poverty and bolster energy security and industrial competitiveness.
