The European Commission has published the first draft National Building Renovation Plans (NBRPs) received from the Member States to date, outlining their roadmaps to a highly energy-efficient and decarbonised building stock by 2050. The European Commission has initiated infringement procedures by sending letter of formal notice to Member States, who have failed to submit their draft plans by the deadline on 31 December 2025. The final plans are due by the end of 2026.
